Responsibilities

Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Director is responsible for driving growth and development of infectious disease testing in a designated geographic territory, primarily targeting high-volume outpatient clinics. Key duties include identifying and securing new business, onboarding new accounts, and maintaining and servicing existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel within the assigned territory under the guidance of the Sr. Director of Sales to engage potential clients and secure profitable new business.
  • Present service offerings, products, and the value proposition effectively to prospective customers.
  • Actively participate in key selling initiatives and develop strong relationships with customers to generate referrals and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Management Teams to forecast proposal close dates, align goals, and contribute to the company’s success.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to explore strategies for increasing customer acquisition.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Introduce additional service lines to expand offerings and meet customer needs.

Required Skills

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4+ years of proven success in medical sales, with a strong track record of calling on physician offices, healthcare facilities, or hospitals.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong ability to independently research, organize, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated expertise in territory planning and management.
