Regional Sales Representative - Texas area - Patient Safety Equipment
Join our client's team as a Regional Sales Representative covering the Texas region focused on product line expansion and territory development of shower, hygiene, and hi low product lines and related equipment. You will play a key role in promoting business development in post-acute, acute care, and bariatric markets. This position involves direct customer selling, account management, and building relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
Our client offers a $78,000 - $82,000 base salary range and bonus program yielding a realistic first year earnings range of $130,000 - $145,000 and includes a comprehensive and generous benefits package including Company Car, Health Insurance, 401k with match, PTO and more. Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Promote business development of shower, commode, and SPH products to IDN, hospitals, acute care, and post-acute markets.
- Conduct field demonstrations and trials of equipment as needed.
- Focus 50% of your time on opportunities in Government and VA Medical Center markets.
- Collaborate on developing 1, 3, and 5-year plans for the territory, with direct sales to various customer verticals.
- Visit and nurture customer relationships within the defined territory.
- Execute forecasting and budgeting for the respective territory within the company structure.
- Drive increased sales in regional groups by identifying top targets and coordinating with the home office.
- Maintain accurate records of sales calls and follow-up correspondence using the CRM program.
- Provide prompt responses to customer equipment inquiries and emails.
- Utilize corporate sales support mechanisms for efficient operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare equipment and solutions is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
